Killashee has won the ‘Hotel Wedding Venue of the Year Leinster’ at the second annual Weddingsupplies.ie Industry Awards, which took place at Killashee Hotel, County Kildare on Tuesday February 6.
Over 500 business and individuals representing a cross section of sectors supplying professional wedding services from across the country gathered for the event. Special guests on the evening included mentalist Keith Barry who joined singers Mundy and Mickey Joe Harte.
This 141-bedroom hotel – popular for weddings – has 25 uniquely decorated bedroom suites, one of which is offered to the bridal party on a complimentary basis. There are also 12 classic suites in the Original House which are currently being refurbished. There is also the award-winning spa and leisure centre at the hotel to relax and unwind ahead of the big day.
Killashee is part of FBD Hotels & Resorts, and the group has invested over €4m into refurbishing the hotel since April 2022.
