Dublin has been ranked high amongst the best cities in Europe for stag and hen parties.
The analysis, conducted by Finnish casino review site Bonusetu, has used casinos, nightlife, hotels and fine dining as its main metrics to measure a city’s attractiveness for a pre-wedding blow-out.
Romania’s capital, Bucharest, ranks number one choice – despite a poor selection of 5-star hotels – thanks to a throbbing nightlife scene filled with bars, clubs and comedy clubs. It also has more casinos per people than any other major European city.
Prague, Amsterdam and London are next in line, before Dublin gets the nod in 5th place.
Dublin listed above Rome, Copenhagen, Antwerp, Rotterdam and Lisbon in the rankings.
A spokesperson from Bonusetu commented: “Everyone wants their stag or hen do to be memorable. Having them in cities with great food, drink, accommodation and nightlife can go a long way in ensuring that. This data can point bridesmaids and groomsmen tasked with throwing the biggest of parties, to the places that will offer them a fantastic time.”
