On behalf of the Irish travel industry, ITTN extends a warm welcome to Murat Balandi, who has been appointed General Manager Ireland by Turkish Airlines. Murat, who was born in Germany 35 years ago last Friday, has been Turkish Airlines’ Marketing and Sales Manager for Middle Europe for the past five years.
He previously worked for Turkish Airlines in passenger management and operations for two years in the late 1990s, but in between has worked with DaimlerChrysler and Audi. Murat has a degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Applied Sciences of Konstanz. He is married and has a one-year-old daughter.
