ITTN’s Sharon Jordan was a happy sun-drenched guest at the Spanish Ambassador to Ireland’s Residence in Dublin’s leafy Ballsbridge yesterday evening.
Hosted by the Spanish Tourism Office in partnership with the Lanzarote Ireland Network www.lanzaroteireland.com guests were treated to some delicious Canarian tapas coupled with Lanzarote home grown wine El Griffo. Some Irish harp music set the scene for the synergy between the two Islands.
Guests were brought through a number of speeches and explained the vision that exists for Lanzarote of the future. Welcome to the new Lanzarote – ‘Lanzarote Premium’. Watch this space for the video.
Two prizes were on offer including a stay at Irish favourite 5* Princess Yaiza Hotel in Playa Blanca, but the overall winner of a stay at the new 5* Lava Beach Hotel and €600 towards flights was won by Sunway Holidays Managing Director, Mary Denton, who in turn announced that the prize would be donated to one of the events raising funds for the Robbie Smart Trust. Well done to Mary for this kindness.
