Discover The Palm Beaches – DTPB – Launches Online Learning Tool for Travel Advisors

Discover The Palm Beaches (DTPB), the tourism marketing organisation for Palm Beach County in Florida, has created a new resource to help travel professionals learn, sell, engage with, and promote The Palm Beaches. 

The Palm Beaches Travel Trade Portal is DTPB’s new online learning platform tailored specifically for travel advisors as the ultimate tool to teach comprehensive insights into “America’s First Resort Destination.”

The free online tool is designed to help travel professionals, such as travel advisors and tour operators, better serve their clients while confidently promoting the destination via informative modules covering history, geography, lodging, culinary delights, transportation options, events, tourist attractions, and much more. 

After completion of all modules, certification will be granted. For the first 100 travel professionals who complete certification by 30th June 2024, one advisor will be selected at random for a chance to win a two-night, three-day stay for two people, including two round-trip airline tickets to The Palm Beaches.*

Milton Segarra, Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME), president and CEO of DTPB said: “Travel advisors are tremendous ambassadors for our destination, and we’re hopeful they will find ‘The Palm Beaches Travel Trade Portal’ a valuable resource to help increase awareness of why we are a great place to visit. 

“This is another feather in our innovation cap. Thanks to the efforts and collaboration of our Global Leisure Sales & Marketing Technology team, this training portal will save our organisation approximately $200,000 over the next five years, and we believe it will solidify the expertise of travel trade professionals seeking to curate memorable experiences for their clients.”

In addition to the launch of DTPB’s “The Palm Beaches Travel Trade Portal,” the organisation has announced its latest brand campaign – ‘The Palm Beaches Collection’. The innovative concept aims to redefine visitor experience, by spotlighting the rich diversity and unique charm of offerings available across the destination’s 39 vibrant cities and towns. As travellers plan their future visits, they can now personalise their holiday experience through an interactive quiz and an array of free tools to ensure memorable experiences that will last a lifetime. 

The Palm Beaches Collection is part of a brand evolution, aiming to showcase the diverse offerings available in the destination while enticing travellers with the opportunity to customise their dream holiday. The new campaign will be amplified through paid media, PR, social media, and new MarTech tactics.
