In his presentation, which included a number of stunning videos on India, Ray Sunani emphasised that India is an all-year-round destination with a vast range of reasons to visit. In addition to its incredible heritage, beach resorts, wildlife sanctuaries, luxury trains and palace hotels, India also offers a wealth of adventure activities from mountaineering and trekking to river rafting, ballooning and skiing, rural tourism, medical and wellness tourism, and eco tourism.

“Golf tourism is a huge potential market,” he said, “and cruise tourism is also developing very fast, along with MICE tourism and, of course, the attractions of India’s great shopping malls and wide variety of regional cuisines.”
