Spain Celebrates World Tapas Day

Spain celebrated World Tapas Day at the Taste of Dublin in Iveagh Gardens. The weather was not in keeping with the excellent warm hospitality on the Spanish stand, where wine and tapas were the order of the day.

Gonzalo Ceballos, Director, Spanish Tourism Office, along with Spanish Ambassador H.E. Jose Maria Rodriguez Coso, greeted their guests in great style and the team of Sara Rivero, Borja Bedoya and Kathryn MacDonnell, fresh from an event in Belfast, made sure that all felt welcome.

The stand featured tasty tapas – various fish, chicken and ham croquets and also chicken chorzoi paella supplied by The Port House restaurants – and excellent Spanish wines.
