The WOW factor came alive as the Royal Caribbean International team came to Dublin to brief, feed, refresh, motivate and entertain the travel agent community.
Led by Stuart Leven, Managing Director of RCI, a team from the head office, aided and abetted by the local team Jennifer Callister and Jenny Rafter (‘the two Jennies’) gave what can only be described as a very slick and professional presentation to more than 100 agents in Fallon & Byrne’s restaurant.
Agents were given a glimpse of what awaits the cruise passenger on ‘Quantum of the Seas’, as high tech takes to the high seas.
Speaking to ITTN , the Managing Directorof RCI, Stuart Leven said that the WOW factor has hit home in the Irish marketplace , but only 1% of the Irish population went on a cruise holiday. So this shows the potential that still exists here.
“Irish people like to cruise in the Mediterraen and the Caribbean, and we have seen an increase in our Irish business who are now cruising from Southampton .”
“Travel agents are vital to us as we need our travel partners to sell the cruise product .”
Royal Caribbean’s ‘Quantum of the Seas’ is blending robotics and entertainers to create thrilling shows in Two70. Robot arms move visuals as seamlessly as performers glide through the space, giving guests an extraordinary experience.
