Riviera Travel Introduces E-Learning Tool for Travel Agents

Riviera Travel has introduced a new e-learning platform to help travel agents improve their brand knowledge.

Riviera Explorer, which goes live on October 3, represents the operator’s most significant investment to date in digital agent support.

It has been designed for both experienced sellers and those new to selling Riviera and will offer a comprehensive and seamless training experience. It features the latest Riviera news and updates and bite-sized training modules, showcasing the operator’s range of itineraries and unique selling points across its river cruise products.

Agents can complete the training programme in approximately four to five hours to become a certified Riviera Expert.

Agents who complete every training module by December 31, 2024, will be in with a chance of winning a space on a Blue Danube Cruise fam trip on new ship Riviera Radiance, departing in 2025.

Vicky Billing, head of trade and partnerships at Riviera, said: “We’re so excited to officially launch ‘Riviera Explorer’, which represents the next stage of our trade-first strategy and will truly take our agent support to the next level.

“I am a passionate believer in giving our trade partners all they need to immerse themselves in Riviera, and this tool does just that. It has been designed to put the agent in control of how they learn, at a pace that suits them. ‘Riviera Explorer’ will set the benchmark in agent training and will grow and evolve, offering exciting new opportunities as we move forward. I encourage agents to get involved to complete the training, boost their knowledge and potentially secure a place on our incredible Blue Danube fam trip.”

‘Riviera Explorer’ can be accessed via www.rivexplorer.com. To register, agents will need their ABTA number.
