Romanian airline Tarom is to operate a new Dublin – Bucharest service three times per week from 1stMay 2013.
The new service, which will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, will also enable passengers from Dublin to connect at Bucharest to destinations such as Athens, Beirut, Belgrade, Cairo, Larnaca, Sofia, and Tel Aviv.
Last year more than 70,000 passengers travelled on scheduled services between Dublin and Romania, with more than 55,000 passengers taking flights between Dublin and Bucharest.
The Aer Lingus twice-weekly service from Dublin to Bucharest is to cease at the end of April, while Romanian carrier Blue Air also operates a twice-weekly service between the two cities.
