When Your Ships Come In…

Yes, in the plural. For Irish travel agents, their ship will come in on the double on Friday 1st June 2012 when Azamara Club Cruises’ Azamara Journey and Silversea Cruises’ Silver Explorer will both be visiting Dublin Port.

Azamara Journey

Azamara Journey

The 694-guest Azamara Journey will be on a 12-night cruise that departs Southampton on 29th May, calling in at St Peter Port in the Channel Islands and the Isles of Scilly before docking in Dublin on 1st June. Then it’s on to Holyhead in Wales and the Isle of Skye (Portree), Kirkwall, Invergordon, and Edinburgh (Leith) in Scotland, before arriving in Amsterdam on 10th June.

Lorraine Quinn, Azamara Club Cruises’ Sales Manager Ireland & Northern Ireland, said: “We are excited that Azamara Journey will be sailing from Dublin again. The ship stopped in the capital last year and guests will be able to sample an Irish welcome before enjoying an unsurpassed cruising experience with the added convenience offered by the easy-to-get-to Dublin Port close to the city centre.

“Early booking through our partners at Cruise Broker is recommended for a holiday experience with unmatched levels of service you’ll want to repeat again and again.”

Silver Explorer

The expedition ship Silver Explorer will be on a 14-day cruise that departs Greenock (Glasgow) in Scotland on 30th May, calling in at Douglas, Isle of Man, on 31st May and Dublin on 1st June, then sailing to the Hebrides, Orkney and Shetland Islands in Scotland, the Faroe Islands in Denmark, and then on to Reykjavik in Iceland on 13th June.

Silverseas’ Silver Whisper will also be visiting Dublin on 18th May after calling into Foynes on 15th May, her first visit to Co Limerick.

Silversea Cruises has launched new lower fares, with cruise only fares from €2,099pp.
