Maldives Passes 500,000 Inbound Visitor Mark

The Maldives is expecting tourism numbers to continue surging this year, after the archipelagic Indian Ocean country passed the 500,000 inbound visitor watermark earlier this year.

As of St Patrick’s Day, the idyllic country had reached the 513,377 visitor mark.

While popular with Irish holidaymakers and honeymooners, most of its visitors are currently coming from China, Italy and the UK.
