Luke Farajallah has been appointed chief executive of Loganair.
The announcement follows the recent resignation of former CEO Jonathan Hinkles.
Mr Farajallah will start his new role on March 4. He has held senior roles with the likes of BA CitExpress, Brymon Airways, EasyJet, Wizz Air and FlyBe.
Loganair is the UK’s largest regional airline and flies to numerous locations in Ireland including Dublin, Donegal, Belfast and City of Derry.
