Emirates and Destination NSW Host Training Evening at Trinity City Hotel

Emily Wheeler, Aviations Marketing Coordinator Destination NSW, and Lisa Rabbitte, Account Manager for Emirates Ireland, hosted members of the Irish travel trade for a fun and informative evening at Trinity City Hotel last night.

The Irish Travel Trade were treated to an enlightening presentation by Emily Wheeler, delving into the abundant offerings of New South Wales and it’s beautiful capital Sydney.

From the iconic sails of the Opera House to the golden sands at Bondi Beach, Sydney is brimming with spectacular icons and an endless calendar of exciting events. Not to mention it’s incredibly rich culture, wildlife experiences and stunning national parks. You can even climb Sydney Harbour Bridge with an Indigenous Storyteller as your guide. Sydney has it all – and then some!

Emily described New South Wales as of the world’s best food and drink scenes. In particular, “Hunter Valley, it’s the perfect place for a long weekend escape and it’s over two hours from Sydney. In this beautiful region it’s all about good food, great wine and switching off from city life.

UNESCO World Heritage-listed Lord Howe Island is also only a short plane trip from the mainland. A top destination all year, the island is home to the world’s most southerly coral reefs, as well as lovely beaches and great fishing, snorkelling and diving.

New South Wales, offers the ultimate range of experiences for every type of traveler. Explore vibrant cities, indulge in world-class dining, epic coastal drives, or immerse yourself in indigenous culture. With its rich history, stunning landscapes, and endless adventures, NSW most definitely promises an unforgettable journey for all who visit.

The evening concluded with an exciting highlight as we had the chance to win two Emirates Economy class flights to Sydney. Lucky Sinead Robinson from Trailfinders was the fortunate winner!
