Contiki Launches 2014 Asia Trips

Contiki Holidays has launched its 2014 Asia trips, featuring holidays across Thailand, VietnamCambodia and China for 18-35 year olds and including special experiences such as the sunrise over the Angkor Wat temples in Cambodia, a stroll along the Great Wall of China, or a dip in the blue waters of Kuang Si waterfall in Laos. Clients booking now can save up to 10% on any Contiki trip to Asia.

Local guides ensure that clients get to see the destination in depth, while smaller groups of about 25 people ensure a more intimate view of the real Asia. Contiki mixes it up with included internal flights to get clients to different cities/towns faster, while alternative modes of transport are used like private mini-buses, overnight trains, boats, rickshaws, sampans, tuk tuks and more, so clients can experience how the locals get around while travelling around.

Clients also enjoy great local food and learn to cook Thai-style in Chiang Mai, or have a Laotian meal in a restaurant that teaches the regions’ young children. Street food and unusual delicacies are also on the menu – bugs, snakes, chicken feet, raw fish and more.

Clients stay in unique accommodations along the way, such as a traditional junk boat in Halong Bay, an over-night train, or even a local guesthouse.
