All that Glisters… is Gold

Travel Counsellors believe in recognising and rewarding the top performing agents when they reach the highly commended ‘Gold Status’. The top 10 Irish TCs earn between €58,000 and €130,000 each per year, a staggering amount in today’s industry.

Every year, the successes of top-performing Travel Counsellors are celebrated with a luxurious trip to one of the world’s most exclusive destinations. This year, Gold Travel Counsellors had the opportunity to choose between two incredible all expenses paid trips: a long weekend in Hong Kong or a luxury river cruise from Budapest to Vienna.

On this special trip, Gold TCs enjoy a wonderful experience in a lavish location, sharing their success with like-minded professional and successful colleagues. Last week, a number of Irish Gold TCs spent a fantastic weekend in Hong Kong that included a selection of sightseeing trips, but with plenty of spare time too. The highlight of the trip was the Gala Banquet Dinner at Hutong Restaurant with spectacular views across the city and a laser light show.

Reaching Gold is a special milestone in the career of any Travel Counsellor. Mandy Walsh (above), who received her Gold Certificate from Mike Graham, Head of Sales, and Victoria Trundle, Business Development Executive, commented on her experience: “Becoming a Gold TC means so much to me, it is such an achievement as I worked really hard to reach this milestone. To be rewarded with this amazing trip is the icing on the cake. It really was such an extra special experience, from top-class hotels to the amazing cultural and dining experiences. Being with like-minded colleagues and sharing the experience with them is really a fantastic opportunity and gives you so much of an incentive to keep achieving the required sales goal.”
