Ballygally Castle Hotel Completes €117k Refurbishment

Ballygally Castle in Co Antrim, a prominent hotel along the Causeway Coastal route and part of the Hastings Hotels Group, has successfully concluded a €117,000 investment programme.

The 17th century castle overlooking Ballygally Bay has undergone several improvements, including the renovation of its main lounge, the addition of a new Seaview suite, installation of new carpets from Ulster Carpets throughout the premises, upgraded windows in bedrooms and lounge areas to maximise the scenic views, and the enhancement of lounge furniture.

“We are delighted to showcase the results of our latest investment, which include upgraded furnishings throughout the hotel and windows designed to fully capture the breathtaking views of the Antrim Coastline and Irish Sea,” said Scott Weatherup, General Manager of Ballygally Castle.

“As part of our collection of Seaview suites, we have introduced the new Lighthouse Suite, offering guests the ultimate luxury stay.

“Continuing the Hastings Hotels’ commitment to ongoing investment in their staff and properties, Ballygally Castle ensures the provision of exceptional experiences for guests. These efforts have garnered recognition, most recently with Ballygally Castle being named one of the top 10% of hotels worldwide by Tripadvisor.

“As we approach one of our busiest periods, we are excited to welcome guests to enjoy the enhanced facilities at Ballygally Castle,” Mr Weatherup added

“Forward bookings are extremely positive, with limited availability remaining throughout July and August. We encourage those planning a summer break to make their reservations promptly, as Northern Ireland’s tourism industry is expected to have a bustling season.”
