Gatwick Airport Exploring Hydrogen Eco-System to Further Reduce Emissions from Flights

London’s Gatwick Airport is exploring how a hydrogen eco-system might be created on its land to potentially reduce emissions from flights, alongside the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) by planes.

The airport is also increasing its reporting of Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions in order to enhance decision making and transparency around climate action.
