United Airlines has signed up as official headline sponsor of Pride in London, the UK’s biggest LGBTQ+ festival, which takes place this year on July 1.
The US airline will also have a float in the main parade, with its employees participating in the festivities.
United Airlines was already official airline for Pride in London last year and the airline has a strong history of taking part in Pride campaigns globally.
Mike Henning, president of United Airlines’ EQUAL department – which is an employee-run resource group promoting inclusivity within the company – said: “At United Airlines, we have a dynamic and diverse group of employees and believe in equality for everyone. To be the official airline for Pride in London is an amazing moment for United.”
