Moet & Chandon to Sponsor The Curragh’s Summer Race Season

Moët & Chandon has announced a new partnership with The Curragh, the home of flat racing in Ireland, which sees the world famous brand become the official champagne partner of the famous racecourse this year with exclusivity across the whole venue. Racegoers attending this summer will have the chance to sip on Moët & Chandon’s award-winning champagnes in the Goffs Champagne Bar, which is always one of the most popular places to be seen on race days.

From the signature expression of the House style, Moët Impérial, to the spontaneous, radiant, romantic expression of Rosé Impérial that combines the elegance and flair of racing fans, to   Moët Grand Vintage 2013, the Moët & Chandon Cellar Master’s unique and personal interpretation of the year, each the perfect accompaniment to a summer’s day at the races.

Speaking of the partnership, Moët Hennessy Brand Director, Elaine Cullen said: “Sharing success and glamour with the world has been Moët & Chandon’s inspiration, passion and raison d’être for nearly three centuries. The Curragh is the home of the most thrilling sporting moments and stunning fashion, providing those attending with first class service, which this year will be paired perfectly with the world’s best loved champagne, Moët & Chandon, enhancing each toast with the spark of effervescence.”

Friend of Moët & Chandon and one of Ireland’s leading ladies in the world of fashion, Jodie Wood, will chair the judging panel for the Best Dressed Lady competition, taking place on day 3 of the Tattersalls Irish Guineas Festival on Sunday 28th May. Past winners of Best Dressed Lady include Olive Foley (2022), Moira O’Toole (2019) and Suzanne McGarry (2017). The prize includes a luxury stay in the magnificent Cashel Palace Hotel, transport courtesy of Finlay Volvo and a magnum of Moët & Chandon Imperial Brut.

Evan Arkwright, Racing and Sponsorship Manager of The Curragh commented: “The Curragh is delighted to welcome Moet and Chandon as a partner for the first time and we look forward to working with them to develop a very strong and positive association between two historic brands. We strive to create moments of celebration and enjoyment at the races and what better way to enhance the race day experience than with a delicious bottle of champagne.”

Moët & Chandon Imperial Brut will be served by the glass, bottle, Mini and Magnum, while   Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial and Grand Vintage 2013 will be available to purchase by the bottle.
