Atlantic Holidays has launched its 2012 programme from Belfast International Airport to Madeira, the ‘Floating Garden’ of the Atlantic. Meanwhile, Aer Lingus has launched a winter sun sale ex-Belfast with fares starting from £19.99 one-way including taxes and charges. The sale offers discounts on the airline’s five winter sun destinations of Malaga, Alicante, Rome, Lanzarote and Tenerife.
Aer Lingus Director of Communications Declan Kearney said: “People in Northern Ireland haven’t had much to smile about weather-wise this summer. Now that the so-called Indian Summer has been and gone too, we’re giving people the opportunity to head away to sunnier climes at a price that won’t break the bank.”
Malaga starts from £19.99, Alicante and Rome from £29.99 and Lanzarote and Tenerife from £64.99. Travel is valid between 5th November 2011 and 28th March 2012.
“Our presence in Northern Ireland continues to go from strength to strength, with travellers enjoying our low fares and great service, and, of course, the variety of routes on offer. We have been in Belfast for almost four years now, and the winter sun sale is a great way to thank the public for their loyalty and support over this time.
“We believe that our brand values are setting us apart from the crowd, and feedback from the NI public suggests that things like seat allocation, advanced selection, flying into centrally located airports and the great care they get from our professional and friendly staff are making customers feel very much valued.
“There is something for everyone in the sale, from golfing in Malaga to a city break in historical Rome, or just plain old fashioned sun worshipping in the Canary Islands. It has never been more affordable.”
