Visit USA Goes to the Movies

A nice treat for the travel trade and public was provided by Brand USA and Visit USA at the Imax Theatre in Parnell Street, Dublin.

The showing of the 3D film ‘America Wild’, about the National Parks of the USA, was a spectacular experience. Directed by Oscar-nominated Greg MacGillivray and produced by Shaun McGillivray, the film is enhanced by soundtrack with Leonard Cohen’s ‘Halleluyeh’ and Bruce Springsteen’s This Land is Your Land”, which added to the enjoyment of the film.

The film was followed by a Q&A session with Director Greg and producer Shaun McGillivray, with many of the questions being asked by pupils from Lorcan County College.

The evening commenced with a drinks reception sponsored by Brand America, Visit USA and Aer Lingus, followed by the showing of the film. Aer Lingus provided a prize of two tickets to anywhere on its transatlantic network, which was won by Carter Fly of BookaBed. The evening finished when drinks and snacks were served and a good time was enjoyed by all.
