Virgin Atlantic will launch a route to the Texas state capital Austin in May.
The route will depart from London Heathrow and operate four times a week.
Virgin will operate four times a week from 25 May, while flights go on sale from 12 January.
Austin is the first US route for Virgin since 2015.
The city is famous for its live music scene, independent shops and restaurants and is distinctly different from Houston and Dallas.
The airline will go head-to-head on the route with British Airways, which is currently the sole provider of nonstop flights between London and Austin.
