Travelsavers Ireland has announced an innovative educational and networking programme for its licensees called ‘Lunch ’n’ Learn’. The inaugural fast-break meetings will take place in Dublin (on 15th September at the Raddison Blu Royal Hotel) and Galway (20th September, Raddison Blu Hotel & Spa).
Held over the lunchtime hours, the meetings offer opportunities for Travelsavers Ireland agencies to network with their peers and gather sales-related information from preferred suppliers – without spending too much of their valuable time away from their offices. Lasting just three hours, the Lunch ’n’ Learn gatherings will be “succinct and packed with business-building ideas”.
The September sessions will focus on the Irish travel industry’s ever-growing cruise segment. Presentations will be given by three cruise suppliers offering tips and tricks of the trade. Participants will also gain access to exclusive marketing materials and receive insider information about upcoming sales incentives for counter staff, as well as promotions running through to the end of this year and into 2012.
“Agency owners, managers and frontline agents from around the country will walk away from our events invigorated to sell more cruises,” said Kathryn Mazza-Burney, Executive Vice President of Sales and Service, Travelsavers Ireland. “Through our complete programme of educational sessions, value-added promotions, and the best cruise technology available today, we are giving our agencies everything they need to have this year be their best ever in the cruise segment.”
