Stena Line has launched a national recruitment campaign in a bid to fill up to 60 vacancies onboard its ships.
This is the first time the ferry company has launched a major recruitment campaign of this nature.
The company is looking for onboard service assistants and chefs who will be supported with full training as well as free accommodation and meals onboard.
The campaign entitled ‘Life Less Ordinary’ is highlighting a unique work/life balance on offer with 50% of time spent off.
Head of Onboard Sales and Services, Stephen Bryden explains that the pandemic has focussed minds on careers as never before.
“As we approach two years of dealing with effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the focus on career choices and in particular striking the right work/life balance has never been more acute,”.
“Whilst we appreciate that a life at sea isn’t feasible for everyone, the challenges of the last few years have shone a light on a variety of jobs and careers. We believe Stena Line can offer a number of unique opportunities to people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences to take up a new challenge in a sector of the travel industry.”
Full training and support are given for all roles. Details of all positions and how to apply can be viewed here.
Applications close 4th February 2022. This will be followed by interviews and Open Days on Monday 14th February 2022.
