Star Alliance hosted their summer bbq in the Morgan Hotel Dublin last night. The rain did not stop the summer feeling with Star Alliance airlines and members of the trade in attendance.
The evening began with a welcome cocktail and a few words from Jane Reeves Coordinator UK/Ireland for Star Alliance, followed by delicious BBQ food and networking with the member airlines.
Star Alliance was founded in 1997 as five airlines formed an alliance dedicated to making international travel more innovative and seamless for customers. They make it easier to book and transfer with each other’s airlines. Today there are 26 member airlines which include:

Alan Sparling, ASM Ireland led everyone in a fun quiz with questions about Star Alliance and its member airlines. It wasn’t just about getting the question right, you had to be the fastest to answer. There were eleven winners of various prizes from flights to goodie bags and champagne. Congratulations to all the winners.
