Silversea has released two new brochures showcasing a diverse collection of more than 300 luxury cruises sailing across the globe in 2015 and the first quarter of 2016.
The new 180-page Silversea Cruises brochure is devoted to the elegant classic voyages of Silver Cloud, Silver Wind, Silver Shadow, Silver Whisper, and Silver Spirit. It is complemented by a separate 140-page Silversea Expeditions guide highlighting the expedition cruises of Silver Explorer, Silver Galapagos, and Silver Discoverer, ships known for exploring some of the world’s most remote regions.
“We are very pleased to launch our two new brochures for 2015,” said Mike Bonner, General Manager, UK & Ireland. “Each has been carefully designed to showcase the all-inclusive lifestyle, uncompromising service, and immersive travel experiences that await our guests.”
Both print and digital versions of the brochures can be requested by visiting Silversea.com/brochures. The following are a few highlights:
Silversea Cruises
Monte Carlo Grand Prix 2015
Silver Spirit guests will have the opportunity to experience the thrill of a Formula One race on an optional ‘Monte Carlo Grand Prix’ tour during the ship’s overnight visit on 23rd May 2015.
Thames River and Corinth Canal
Silversea is able to visit a number of locations larger cruise ships are unable to access. In 2015, Silver Cloud will navigate the Thames River and dock near Tower Bridge, London, on five voyages. Silver Cloud and Silver Wind will also transit the Mediterranean’s narrow Corinth Canal.
Venetian World Odyssey 2016
In January 2016, the 382-guest Silver Whisper sails from Fort Lauderdale to Venice and will cross the Panama Canal to South America and the Pacific, visiting 51 destinations in 31 countries in 115 days.
Circle South America
Setting sail in January 2016, Silver Spirit will sail 66 days round-trip from Fort Lauderdale, crossing the Panama Canal and spending three days in Rio de Janeiro during Carnival.
South Africa Cruises from Cape Town
In February 2016, Silver Cloud will showcase South Africa’s spectacular beauty, amazing wildlife, and rich cultural heritage on a trio of 10-day voyages featuring convenient roundtrips from Cape Town.
Caribbean Cruises from San Juan
Silver Wind explores the sun-soaked beaches of the Caribbean on a series of seven-day cruises sailing roundtrip from San Juan in February and March 2016.
Myanmar
In addition to Venetian World Odyssey 2016, select voyages in 2015 and 2016 will feature multi-day stays in Burma, a land of golden shrines and bejewelled pagodas, and only recently opened to the outside world.
Expedition Cruises
In 2015 more than 100 expedition cruises will sail from the islands of Oceania to the polar extremes aboard three expedition ships. Accompanied by a team of naturalists, ornithologists, geologists and other field experts, guests can explore by Zodiac some of the least known and rarely visited places on Earth.
Silver Discoverer will visit Alaska, Micronesia, Melanesia, Polynesia, the Russian Far East, South-East Asia, New Zealand and its Sub-Antarctic islands, and Australia’s spectacular Kimberley Coast.
Africa is back, joining Silver Explorer’s expeditions to Antarctica, South and Central America, Britain and Ireland, Northern Canada, Greenland, and Arctic Norway.
Silver Galapagos will again operate seven-day, roundtrip voyages from Baltra, exploring the amazing Galápagos on alternating western and north central itineraries.
