Saint Lucia’s Green Fig Resort & Spa Appoints Sales Team to Boost Profile in Ireland and the UK

Saint Lucia’s Green Fig Resort & Spa will be actively targeting visitors from Ireland and the UK this year and beyond.

To that end, the resort has appointed SILVA as its dedicated trade sales team.

Aiming to raise the property’s profile, educating both travel agents and wholesale partners in the UK and Ireland on its product offering, SILVA will work to bolster key sales relationships via strategic incentive offers and thorough training sessions that provide vital sales tips to help secure those all-important bookings.

The boutique resort houses 27 ‘treehouse feel’ room and suites overlooking the Pitons, Saint Lucia’s UNESCO World Heritage Site.

SILVA Director, Suzy Trott, said: “The Green Fig product is stunning, and its ‘treehouse feel’ offers our UK partners a unique selling point for the island of Saint Lucia. I’m very excited to be bringing it online for the UK and Irish trade and strongly believe that our planned activities will significantly boost the brand’s presence to ensure key sellers and partners understand its proposition.

“We have lots of trade focused initiatives planned to clearly define the property and we will certainly introduce educational tools such as training sessions and booking incentives to drive an understanding of the product for sales conversion.”

Michael Wolff, General Manager, Green Fig Resort & Spa said: “Our boutique offering is rather unique on the island of Saint Lucia, and we are excited to bring our point of difference to the UK and Irish markets. We understand the importance of the travel trade and so educating our colleagues is the key to us successfully establishing our product. We are confident that working with Suzy and the SILVA team will expand our reach and bolster key sales relationships with important UK tour operators.”
