NYC ‘Off-Broadway Week’ Returns with 2-for-1 Ticket Offer

New York City Tourism + Conventions – New York City’s official destination marketing organisation and convention and visitors bureau – has announced the return of NYC Off-Broadway Week, presented by Mastercard, with the start of 2-for-1 ticket sales to 31 Off-Broadway shows, at nyctourism.com/offbroadwayweek.

The bi-annual programme, now in its 14th year, will run from October 3–15, 2023. 

“We’re excited to invite New Yorkers and visitors to once again immerse themselves in the intimate setting of an Off-Broadway Week production,” said New York City Tourism + Conventions President and CEO Fred Dixon. “Off-Broadway has long been home to some of the City’s most groundbreaking theatre, and we’re proud to continue our partnership with The Off-Broadway League to offer this programme that makes the Off-Broadway experience more accessible.”

Since its launch in 2009, over 600 Off-Broadway productions have participated in NYC Off-Broadway Week. The programme has also generated over $4m in revenue through sales; over 100,000 tickets have been sold.

Participating Off-Broadway shows can be sorted by filters including Genre (Comedy, Drama, Kid-Friendly, Magic, Musical, Play), Audience (Adults Only, Family–All Ages, Not for Younger Children (5+), Teens and Adults); Borough and Neighborhood at nyctourism.com/offbroadwayweek

New York City’s welcomed over 56 million travellers in 2022, which marks a return of 85% of the city’s record 66.6 million visitors in 2019. The city remains on track to welcome 63.2 million visitors in 2023.
