The ever-evolving City of New York returned to Dublin, as represented by Reginald Charlot and Tryphavana Cross, this week to showcase its new and innovative products to the Irish trade.
Staten Island was to the fore with its Giant Ferris Wheel with pods that hold up to 40 pax. There is also a new shopping mall and hotel. There is a free ferry available out to the island.
Other products included the Empire State building and the new 9/11 Museum, which is underground at the Memorial site.
Broadway shows – some old, some new – were also featured by the Broadway Collection and The Ride, which is a Bus Tour and Mobile Theatre product. Also new was The Blue Man show.
New York continues to offer amazing and original products that keep the interest of the trade at the highest level.
Aer Lingus offers four flights daily for the summer – three from Dublin and one from Shannon – and will introduce four weekly flights to Newark from 1st September 2016.
After the workshop the agents were hosted to dinner and a table quiz.
