New Women on the Camino Guided Tour

To celebrate International Women’s Day, CaminoWays.com, the walking and cycling specialist, has launched Women on the Camino, its first ever women-only Camino guided tour.

Departing on Saturday 17th September 2016, this unique seven-night tour will take the group to Galicia’s Rías Baixas region, famous for its fresh seafood and fruity Albariño white wine. The group will be walking the last 100km of the Portuguese Coastal Way, a Camino route taking in great views of the Atlantic Ocean, sandy beaches and lovely towns such as historic Pontevedra and elegant Baiona.

Walking along forest tracks, peaceful hamlets and country villages, the group will meet fellow Camino pilgrims on their way to Santiago. Once in Santiago de Compostela, the city of St James, it will be time to celebrate the achievement. The team, led by an experienced local guide, will also be able to request their ‘Compostela’ certificate, awarded to pilgrims who walk at least the last 100km into Santiago.

The price of €740 per person sharing includes half-board accommodation, English speaking guide, airport transfers, luggage transfer from hotel to hotel, and holiday pack with route information, but does not include flights or travel insurance.

For more information about this route, see Portuguese Coastal Way from Baiona.
