Lily-Mae Visits Florida with American Holidays

Lily-Mae Morrison is a little 5-year-old girl who was diagnosed in June 2012 with a rare form of cancer called Neuroblastoma, which affects one in 100,000 children in Ireland. In 2012 she was named the Irish Sun’s ‘Person of the Year’ following her battle with the disease.

As the winner, she was given a prize of a dream trip to Walt Disney World Resort Florida and the team at American Holidays came together to assist with the trip for her and her family.

On Wednesday 16th April Lily-Mae was presented with her tickets at the American Holidays office by Lisa Byrne, along with a cuddly Minnie Mouse to accompany her on her trip.

Lisa, Marketing Executive, American Holidays, said: “We were absolutely delighted to be able to help little Lily-Mae’s Disney dreams come true. She is such an inspiring young girl and we are very happy to help her take the trip she so deserves.”

Judith Morrison, Lily-Mae’s mother, said: “We are so grateful to American Holidays for all they have done for us and our brave little girl. It really is a dream come true.”

Lily-Mae will travel to Florida next week with her mum Judith, dad Leighton and little brother Evan.
