JetBlue Confirms Entry to Ireland with New Routes from Dublin to New York and Boston

US airline JetBlue has confirmed its entry to the Irish market with direct services from Dublin (DUB) to New York (JFK) and Boston (BOS) with the routes commencing in 2024.

The routes will be operated by JetBlue’s new Airbus A321neo aircraft.

JetBlue is also starting a new service from Edinburgh to New York (JFK).

JetBlue chief executive Robin Hayes said: “Dublin is an exciting new destination for JetBlue, building on a long history and tradition of friendship and connectivity between the United States and Ireland. The success of our transatlantic service proves customers don’t have to choose between low fares and great service and can experience both with JetBlue”. “We have long recognised the strategic importance of Ireland and its strong value proposition as an attractive country to visit and do business in. We realise value and choice is just as important in the Irish market as in the US and are pleased to introduce our award-winning product to Irish customers.”

Seats on the Dublin and Edinburgh routes are on sale starting today with low fares for U.S.-originating travelers starting at $399 and $599 roundtrip for the airline’s award-winning core experience and starting at $1,999 and $2,499 for JetBlue’s premium Mint experience. Ireland and Scotland originating travelers can enjoy special introductory roundtrip fares starting at €399 ($423) and £399 ($485) for core and €1,499 ($1,588) and £1,499 ($1,822) for Mint.

JetBlue from Paris

JetBlue has also added further competition to the already busy Europe to US transatlantic market by launching a new route from New York/JFK to Paris/Charles de Gaulle last June.

Robin Hayes said: “JetBlue’s arrival into Paris is poised to disrupt the market once again with our award-winning service and low fares, bringing a fresh and innovative choice in transatlantic flying to a new European audience.

“We look forward to continuing to prove that customers don’t have to compromise great service for a low fare. We are excited to bring our highly acclaimed Mint and Core onboard service to both business and leisure customers travelling to and from Paris.”

JetBlue from Amsterdam

JetBlue recently launched Amsterdam as its third transatlantic route.

The airline has started flying between New York/JFK to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport as of 30th August and added a Boston/Logan International Airport-Amsterdam route on 20th September.

“JetBlue’s transatlantic service has proven to lower fares and benefit customers in markets that have suffered for decades from high fares by legacy carriers,” said Robin Hayes, chief executive officer, JetBlue. “We look forward to introducing our award-winning Mint and core service to business and leisure customers travelling to and from Amsterdam.”
