Island Marketing Announces 204% Sales Growth to Kuramathi Island in Maldives

Island Marketing – the GSA in Ireland for Maldives Resorts – has announced a 204% growth in sales to Kuramathi Island in 2022.

Revenue is up from $345,000 pre-pandemic in 2019, to $1.05m in 2022 – resulting in 1,789 room night sales delivering an average nightly room rate of $601.

“Over the past 6 years we have invested heavily in the Irish market, making Kuramathi Island the strongest performing resort in Maldives here in Ireland,” said Island Marketing’s Brian McCarthy.

“Prior to the pandemic, 90% of our business was from the honeymoon sector. However, from Q4 of 2021 we have seen substantial growth in the Luxury Family market as well the older age group choosing Maldives for those special occasions such as birthday celebrations and milestone wedding anniversaries.”

Kuramathi Island Maldives offers 11 Villa categories to suit most Budgets including the best value over-water villa’s with private pools and family 2 Bedroom Villas. In addition, Kuramathi includes no fewer than 9 a la carte dining venue’s as part of their “Select” All Inclusive package, making it the most comprehensive all inclusive resort in Maldives.
