Hurtigruten Invites Agents to a Shackleton Evening

Hurtigruten is inviting agents to join them at a unique evening to
celebrate
the life of Irish-born explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton – on Thursday 11th April at the Ferry Terminal in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin.

Hurtigruten Shackelton Endurance

The Shackleton Endurance exhibition tells a survival story
like no
 other: Shackleton’s Imperial Trans-Antarctic
expedition
of 1914-1917. Today it is rightly seen as perhaps the most remarkable in
 exploration
history: a tale of extraordinary leadership – of the triumph of the human
 heart and
spirit when faced with the most terrible odds. But it was years before its
true
significance emerged.
