Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) has reported year-to-date revenues of $1.7bn; more than double for the same period in 2022, as it remains on track for a record year’s financial performance.
The alliance of international independent hotels covers 800 hotels across 40 member brands. Room night occupancy surged by over 30%, while hotel revenues were up by more than 40%.
Some of GHA’s members include Kempinski Hotels, The Doyle Collection, Marco Polo Hotels and Anantara Hotels.
Chris Hartley, GHA chief executive said summer demand has been “incredible” in all key markets: “This unbridled appetite for travel, combined with more than 21 new properties across 14 brands joining GHA since the start of the year, has made our loyalty programme even more compelling, spurring huge growth in GHA Discovery membership to reach more than 25 million.”
