The centenary of the Easter Rising is generating much interest in the World War One context and GTI is offering four-day guided tours of the Flanders & The Somme Battlefields, with 10% commission per person on the first five packages sold and 11% on more than five packages.
There are four dates, with prices from €667 pps . A professional historian with extensive knowledge of the role of Irish regiments guides the tour as it follows in the footsteps of the Irish soldiers involved and visits key WW1 battlefields where over 200,000 Irishmen fought, including Menin Gate, Passchendale Memorial, Tyne Cot Cemetery, and Pozieres.
