Falcon/Thomson Launch Summer 2015 Programme

Falcon Holidays took advantage of its Summer 2015 brochure launch to introduce Chris Logan as the new Head of Ireland to the media. “I feel nothing but a very warm welcome here in Ireland and I am really excited about taking over from Carol Anne,” he said. “I am so pleased to be inheriting such a strong and dedicated team here in Ireland.”

Chris is a fellow Celt as a native of Scotland and previously spent 10 years in the world of consultancy. His previous position with TUI was with its property portfolio. He is also a keen rugby fan.

Carol Anne O’Neill, outgoing Head of Ireland, said that Falcon/Thomson had a great year in 2014. “January has always been a busy booking period and we have already seen evidence of this, with a strong start to 2015 showing there is a demand among holidaymakers in the marketplace. Booking a holiday to beat the January blues is a fantastic way to begin the year and gives holidaymakers a great reason to look forward to the summer. There is a whole host of savings to be made by booking early as we have a fantastic range of offers, including free child places, free upgrades and many more.”

“2015 is shaping up to be a really exciting year for Falcon with our new destination of Kos available direct from Dublin Airport. The Greek islands are a beautiful place to visit with stunning Blue Flag beaches and glorious sunshine.

“Splash World Resorts are a popular choice among Irish holidaymakers, particularly families. They have been steadily growing in popularity over the past number of years and we expect this trend to grow further in summer 2015 with this new addition of Kos to our programme.”Falcon Holidays Logo

Spain is still the number one destination out of Ireland, but Falcon has seen growth to Greece since they introduced Kos last year.

2015 also sees Thomson Holidays offering its widest range of holiday choice yet with an exciting line-up of properties, many included for the first time. With two new, exclusive Sensatori Resorts, as well as new properties across its exclusive range of Couples, Platinum, Gold and Family Resorts, there is something for all ages. In particular, Thomson is seeing the range of holidays that are in a child-free environment growing in popularity for this summer.

The  Thomson Sensatori collection will see two new resorts in Ibiza and Turkey added to the list. The aim of Sensatori is simple – to take customers to such a level of contentment they reach ‘satori’, a Japanese term that loosely translates as the ‘wow’ moment. The name is a combination of ‘sense’ and ‘satori’.

Each Sensatori resort has been designed to fuel the five senses (sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch) to provide the perfect holiday, from the food customers eat, to the room they sleep in. The ‘wow’ moment, when the customer is truly contented, can hit at any time – when sipping champagne after an indulgent treatment in the spa, relaxing by the pool, or indulging on gourmet cuisine.
