The Commission for Aviation Regulation is using a new version of its online licensing system for the renewal of spring 2015 licences for travel agents and tour operators. The CAR has also issued two new travel trade licences. 
Licence holders are invited to read in full CN1/2015 and to ensure applications and any supporting documentation required are submitted on time to avoid levies that may be incurred.
Key dates for submission of required data:
13th January 2015:
Opening of online licensing facility
11th February 2015:
Deadline for receipt of completed licence application at standard fee
11th March 2015:
Date that CAR aims to issue decision-in-principle letters for applications made by 11th February 2015
14th April 2015:
Deadline for receipt by CAR of applicant’s bond for licence to be granted by 1st May 2015.

This round will be processed using a new version of online licensing system that is compatible with the following browsers – Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Safari. This new interface looks slightly different from the previous one but should result in faster processing and interaction for applicants.

Travel agency licence number 0747, expiring 30th April 2015, has been issued to www.cruise.co.uk, Grosvenor House, Prospect Hill, Redditch B97 4DL, England, Tel: 0044 800 408 6200.
Travel agency licence number 0748, expiring 31st October 2015, has been issued to Sonas Travel, Ballyea, Inagh, Co Clare, Tel: 086 604 2426 t/a Camino Groups.
