Emirates to Hold Pilot Roadshows in Dublin

Emirates is holding another recruitment drive in Ireland; this time for pilots.

It is the first time in more than 3 years that the airline – which this week announced Anita Thomas as its new Country Manager for Ireland – has held a pilot roadshow here.

This series of roadshows will take place in Dublin on August 19-20, at the Clayton Hotel Charlemont, Dublin 2. There will be three separate sessions – two on Saturday August 19 (10am and 1pm) and one on Sunday August 20 (10am).

Emirates’ pilots complete robust, evidence-based and competency-based training programmes in-house with highly skilled instructors in specially designed environments. The airline’s cutting-edge training facility houses 10 full-flight simulators for Boeing 777s and Airbus 380s. The airline is investing US$135 million in building a new, highly advanced pilot training facility spanning 63,318sq.ft, set to open in March 2024. The facility will house 6 more full-flight simulators for its future fleet, including the A350 and Boeing 777-9 aircraft.

Pilots will be based in Dubai.
