easyJet has revealed plans to develop emission-free hydrogen-powered flights.
The airline will work with Cranfield Aerospace Solutions (CAeS) to develop a hydrogen fuel cell system.
CAeS is currently working on an existing prototype of a small Britten-Norman Islander aircraft, which is expected to be in operation by 2023

Depending on progress, easyJet could become the world’s first major airline to fly hydrogen-powered aircraft at scale.
It could operate hydrogen flights by 2030, it says.
