Dominican Republic Launches First Ever Loyalty Scheme for Ireland and UK Travel Agents

Destination Dominican Republic has launched its first ever loyalty scheme for travel agents in Ireland and the UK.

The much-anticipated Dominican Republic Travel Rewards was created in association with MyBookingRewards.com (MBR) and offers agents significant cash rewards per room and per night on all holiday bookings made across the 170 available properties on the island nation.

Darren Pearson, Founder and CEO, My Booking Rewards, said: “This is an important move by destination Dominican Republic, and we are delighted they have selected our agile technology to help them reach and incentivise agents across the UK and Ireland. Those agents that register with us to take advantage of the rewards on offer will also have access to training webinars and a marketing suite of factsheets and imagery to help boost their sales potential.

“MBR aims to support suppliers in building strong and meaningful relationships with agents, whilst also supporting agents in their quest to convert more of those all-important enquiries into actual bookings. We are confident Dominican Republic will quickly reap the benefits of our tried and tested platform and agent network.”

The Dominican Republic ranks among the most diverse Caribbean countries in terms of geography, nature and its friendly people. As a nature lover’s paradise, the island offers action and adventure as well as several of the Caribbean’s longest white sand coastlines – the perfect backdrop for rest and relaxation. With a local unified passion for music and dance, a truly diverse gastronomy offering and undeniable hospitality, the Dominican Republic certainly has something for everyone.

My Booking Rewards is a fully integrated online solution that supports rewarding relationships by bringing together agents and suppliers. Agents can earn and learn from one easily accessed portal that offers direct interaction with over 1,200 hotels and resorts worldwide. Suppliers can engage with an active network of 40,000 agents, incentivising sales in key markets to drive and convert bookings.
