DFA issues advice for Travellers Impacted by Tropical Storm Hillary

A Tropical Storm watch is in effect for Southern California, parts of Nevada and Arizona for up to 21 August 2023. The Department of Foreign Affairs has issued travel advice for the area.

Tropical Storm Hillary

A Tropical Storm watch is in effect for Southern California, parts of Nevada and Arizona for up to 21 August 2023.

This can result in flooding, high winds and heavy rainfall in affected areas. Travel in these areas may be impacted. Evacuation advisories may be in effect in certain areas. You are advised to check with airports and travel operators ahead of any planned travel. Please follow the advice of local authorities and exercise caution. The latest information on the storm can be accessed from the US National Weather Service.
