The Travel Weekly Agent Achievement Awards are the largest celebration of the travel trade in the Ireland and the UK and the highest accolade for travel agencies and agents. The awards are designed to honour those travel agencies and travel agents who truly represent the best of the travel industry and recognise excellence in a range of categories and specialisms. The shortlists include agencies nominated by more than 100 suppliers, ranging from tour operators and cruise lines to airlines, tourist boards, agents and ancillary companies.

Nominated and self-nominated categories also feature individuals from a wide range of companies and business models in addition to up-and-coming start-ups and those who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to sustainability and staff wellbeing and development. Winners will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony at the Westminster Park Plaza Hotel in London on Thursday, July 13th. Best of luck to all at Cassidy Travel!

I have worked in the travel industry for seven years, from working in American Holidays and The Travel Corporation I have a wealth of knowledge of all aspects of travel. Before joining ITTN I worked for Facebook which gave me the inside knowledge of the wonderful world of social media. I have a BSc in Event Management and am also a qualified beauty therapist (which definitely comes in handy in this business). Recently I joined the AWTE Ireland committee and I am enjoying working with and connecting with the network of women in travel.
