Aer Lingus has announced traffic statistics for March 2013, with total flown passenger numbers, including Aer Lingus Regional operations, having increased by 4.3% to 844,000 compared to March 2012.
Short-haul flown passengers, including Aer Lingus Regional, were 761,000, an increase of 3.4% on March 2012, while long-haul flown passengers were 83,000, an increase of 13.7% on March 2012.
Aer Lingus mainline’s flown passenger load factor in March 2013 increased by 4.1 points on March 2012 to 79.9%. Short-haul flown load factor was 77.3%, an increase of 4.7 points on March 2012, with capacity decreasing by 7.0%. Long-haul flown load factor was 84.4%, an increase of 2.4 points on March 2012, with capacity increasing by 9.5%.
