Thomas Cook Ireland Rebrands

Thomas Cook have decided to merge the Panorama and Sunworld brands together to become Thomas Cook Ireland.

John Kinane, Managing Director, Thomas Cook Ireland said the re-brand would create the most comprehensive holiday offering on the market. “Under the Thomas Cook umbrella we will now cater for a vast array of holiday options, from traditional sun packages to popular sun destinations, to cruise holidays across the globe, independent city breaks, weddings, sports & activity holidays and long haul destinations. Each of these options comes with the  reassurance of having a strong global brand in Thomas Cook, which is fully bonded and licensed by the Commission for Aviation Regulation. Our customers can relax knowing they are dealing with the same experienced staff in our centre in Park West Dublin.”

Research conducted by the company shows that Thomas Cook has strong brand recognition among Irish holidaymakers. “Thomas Cook is perhaps the most valuable brand in all of travel and this is the borne out by out research,” says John Kinane. “It enjoys very high levels of brand awareness among customers here, who indicate they are more likely to consider a holiday with Thomas Cook than with the brands it is replacing”

Thomas Cook have also launched the groups latest offering for 2012. Thomas Cook Far and Away features far flung destinations such as Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Gambia and Goa. Alongside cruises to the Galapagos Islands & Alaska, there’s a wide range of escorted tours, including the Rocky Mountains by rail, the Safari Parks of South Africa and a tour of Sri Lanka.
