Flight Disruptions in Portugal

Passengers on flights to Portugal may face disruption in the coming weeks due to industrial action by air traffic controllers. Following two-hour walkouts last Thursday and Friday, further walkouts are planned for 19^th, 20^th, and 26^th April between 07.00 and 09.00.

SATA pilots are also threatening strike action on 27^th – 29^th April, while in Spain the Monday and Friday strikes by Iberia pilots are set to continue up to 20^th July, and airport workers at Madrid-Barajas Airport may strike on 30^th April, 2^nd and 3^rd May.

The Iberia Peninsula does not look like being a happy air space over the next few weeks!
