ITTN’s Emer Roche joined a press group invited to board American Airlines Boeing 787-8 aircraft for a tour of its decadent business suite last Friday morning.
This unveiling is just in time for a new summer schedule of daily American Airlines flights from Dublin to Charlotte, Dallas and Chicago.
After clearing security, the group were ushered to a reserved area in the 51st and Green Lounge where they were treated to refreshments, including a glass of bubbly, before boarding the ‘Dreamliner’.
Comfort and space say little to describe the plush business class. Each seat is set in a private enclave, offering a lie-flat option within a stunning interior. Passengers can even personally adjust the lighting on the larger windows! Each seat has a personal TV and remote control with the option of a huge array of entertainment.
The group popped back to check out the Premier Economy seats and lets just say, the legroom would please the tallest basketball player!
The tour gave everyone in the group a taste for immediate Stateside travel and with the new daily schedule, those dreams may soon become a reality.
