Adare Manor Voted ‘Best Resort in Europe’ by Condé Nast Traveler & Lands 3 Michelin Keys

Adare Manor, in Co Limerick, has been voted Best Resort in Europe for the third year in a row by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler

The results of the 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards, one of the travel industry’s most prestigious accolades, placed Adare Manor at the top of Europe’s luxury resort category once again.

The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are renowned as the longest-running and most respected recognition of excellence in the travel world, showcasing the very best destinations and experiences.

This year, over a half million readers — an astounding 575,000 participants — cast their votes, sharing insights into their favourite hotels, resorts, and travel experiences. These voters assessed a range of criteria, including service, atmosphere, dining, and overall guest experience.

Brendan O’Connor, General Manager of Adare Manor, said: “To be named Best Resort in Europe for the third consecutive year is an extraordinary honour. This recognition means so much to us, as it reflects the opinions of the most important people to all of us at Adare Manor — our guests. Their continued support is the ultimate testament to the passion and commitment of our entire team, across all departments. We are privileged to be in such esteemed company and to be recognised in this way for creating memorable experiences that exceed expectations. This award not only celebrates the unique nature of Adare Manor but also underscores the heart and dedication that every member of our team brings to our guests’ experience.”

In addition, Adare Manor has been awarded three Michelin Keys – a prestigious new recognition reserved for hotels that offer truly outstanding stays. This honour places Adare Manor among a select group of the world’s finest accommodations, as chosen by the renowned Michelin Guide

The Michelin Key, much like the revered Michelin Star for restaurants, is awarded based on five universal criteria: the quality of architecture and interior design, consistency of service, unique personality, value for money, and contribution to the hotel’s neighbourhood or environment. Out of over 5,000 hotels worldwide, Adare Manor has been singled out as an extraordinary destination that excels in all of these categories.

Mr O’Connor said: “This accolade underlines Adare Manor’s position as a leader in luxury hospitality, both in Ireland and internationally, and highlights its commitment to delivering an unmatched experience for every visitor.”
