This year’s 50 Plus Show, the lifestyle events for retired and older people, will be the biggest ever, according to the organisers.
The show, which always has a sizeable home and abroad travel element, will feature around 150 stands and attract more than 5,000 visitors when it launches for two days at the RDS, Dublin on 14th March.
The 50 Plus Show is organised by Dublin company S&L Promotions – which also runs the show in Galway, Cork and Limerick and publishes the popular magazine Senior Times.
Said event manager Brian McCabe: “The show offers a great opportunity for Irish hotels to showcase their off-peak ‘Golden Years’ packages, as well as providing tour operators, tourist boards and carriers with a unique platform to promote products popular with seniors such as weekend breaks, Christmas markets, autumn/winter long stay packages, and long-haul destinations tailored to visiting children and grandchildren.”
The admission-free event runs from 10-4 on Thursday 14th and Friday 15th March at the Industries Hall, RDS, Dublin.
